Objective: Designing a digital tool to reduce communication gaps between cancer survivors and their medical and social support providers.  

ECO’s Role: Coordinating the project; conducting a user-needs assessment to design a prototype application; creating the actual prototype; communicating and disseminating the finished application; writing a detailed evaluation of the project at its conclusion.

Coordinator: Erasmus Universitair Medisch Centrum Rotterdam (Erasmus MC)

Objective: The project will further develop a promising methodology, MetroMapping, to redesign care paths for patients with breast cancer, prostate cancer and melanoma.

ECO’s Role: Task leader on patient, HCP and policy dissemination - contributing to outreach and tool development.

EU NAVIGATE

Coordinator: Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB)

Objective: Aims at implementing and evaluating a Navigation Intervention for older people with cancer and their family caregivers in different health care systems in Europe.

ECO’s Role: Work Package Leader on dissemination, exploitation & stakeholder engagement.

EUonQoL

Coordinator: Istituto Nazionale Tumori (INT)

Objective: Develop, pilot and validate the EUonQoL-Kit, a patient-driven, unified system for the assessment of quality of life (QoL) based on evaluations and preferences of cancer patients and survivors.

ECO’s Role: Supporting Work Package 2 on on involvement of stakeholders and patients, and Work Package 9 on dissemination and communication activities.

Rocc-n-Roll

Coordinator: European Institute for Biomedical Imaging Research (EIBIR) 

Objective: Aims at analysing and generating a strategic agenda for research and innovation in medical applications using ionising radiation and radiation protection. 

ECO’s Role: Task leader on patients’ needs and perspectives on radiation protection (patient panel).

Objective: Aims at Building a European, data-driven, value-based healthcare network for adolescents and young adults (AYA) with cancer.
