Professional development, with a focus on digital skills, has become a central aspect of training for healthcare professionals. Whilst the emphasis is often on designing curriculum, developing effective and relevant training programmes, and employing the best learning and evaluation methods, there remains a critical theme that is frequently overlooked: how do healthcare professionals cope with the demands of continuous learning in a saturated and high-pressure work environment?
In this workshop, we aim to explore the challenges faced by healthcare professionals, particularly oncology specialists, in managing ongoing professional development amidst the pressures of their daily responsibilities. We will examine how training programmes can be designed to be sustainable and adaptable to the challenges of limited time, high stress, and constant change in healthcare settings.
