Update on Screening – January 2024
The European Cancer Organisation, its member societies and supporting community, are embarking on a major new initiative and we invite you, your organisations, and networks to join us in this pan-European campaign being rolled out in 2024.
This campaign focuses on implementing breast, colorectal and cervical cancer screening and introducing new screenings for lung, prostate and gastric cancer as outlined in the EU Recommendations on Cancer Screening in 2022. Together, we can collect more and better data, conduct impactful case studies, consult healthcare professionals and patient advocates to identify best practices that have been implemented in recent years, and promote policy recommendations to policy-makers.
