As we move into spring, we continue to advocate for stronger patient rights and inclusion across healthcare and policy frameworks.
We were proud to have Youth Cancer Europe, a dedicated member of our Patient Advisory Committee, attend the high-level event at the European Parliament on 6 March 2025, organised by the European Cancer Organisation and MEP Romana Jerković. The event focused on empowering women affected by cancer and reinforcing their rights in healthcare. Patient advocates are integral in such discussions, advocating for policies that are inclusive, patient-centred, and focused on real-world outcomes for women living with or surviving cancer.
In addition, The World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition (WBCPC), in collaboration with the European Association of Urology (EAU), led discussions on European policy action for bladder cancer at the EUrology Bladder Cancer Session. Key priorities and recommendations were highlighted to improve bladder cancer care across Europe.
Moving forward, please keep an eye on the upcoming event from our PAC organisation:
We extend our sincere gratitude to our PAC members for their continued engagement in these critical discussions. Together, we are making a real difference!
