Funding Opportunity for Early Career Investigators

22 February 2024

PCE is proud to introduce the Short-term Scientific Stay Award 2024. This initiative aims to support the growth of early career investigators by providing a unique opportunity for a research stay of 1 to 3 months, coupled with a generous grant of up to EUR 5,000. PCE believes in fostering collaboration and facilitating hands-on contributions to the field of pancreatic cancer research.

'Pancreatic Cancer Europe is funding two Short-term Scientific Stay Awards every year for young researchers. An excellent opportunity to broaden their perspective on translational research, learn how to use new technologies that may be helpful at their own lab, and make useful contacts for alliances in future research projects that may result in a benefit for our patients.

Visiting a reference lab in another country is a gift that improves the scientific career and provides multiple opportunities for personal and professional development.'

-Alfredo Carrato, Chairperson of PCE
