Digestive Cancer Europe invites you to join an online discussion on the importance of Advancing the Prevention and Understanding of Colorectal Cancer in Younger Patients to Save More Lives on 29 February from 10 am to 12 noon (CET).
Since 2008, Digestive Cancers Europe (DiCE) has been leading the European Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month (ECCAM) campaign every March to raise awareness of CRC. This year, as we continue our mission to promote a healthy lifestyle through walking and other physical activity, we will explore the unique challenges and risk factors associated with colorectal cancer in people under 50 years of age, emphasising the importance of early detection and intervention.
Should you have any questions regarding the event, please reach out to

For 15 years now, every March, Digestive Cancers Europe has been running European Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month (ECCAM) campaigns.
Building on last year’s success of the StepApp® it is preparing an engaging campaign promoting physical activity as a preventative measure and raising awareness about the importance of screening.
Last year, people all around the world Stepped Up for Colorectal Cancer. Every step counted, as we raised awareness of Europe’s second-most common cancer.
This March, we’re walking again… and this year, we want to show the world the many faces of Colorectal Cancer action. So we’re asking you, our walkers, to share photos from your walks with us. By seeing the many faces and places where we’re walking across the continent, we can show the reality of our mission to Step Up for Colorectal Cancer.
As well as the StepApp®, DiCE has created a simple way to share your photo and say a few words about why you’re walking. Your photo might be spectacular, emotional, fun… or all three! We ask only that it reflects you.
So, join this March, as we paint a picture of the wider story of Colorectal Cancer, the people it affects, and the action we’re taking together…
…Step by Step.
