A Warm Welcome to Three Not-for-Profit Organisations Joining European Cancer Community 365

15 June 2020

We are pleased to have three not-for-profit organisations join European Cancer Community 365 as Contributors and Supporters. Community 365 is a group of charity, philanthropy and industry contributors to the Focused Topic Networks of the European Cancer Organisation.

Community 365 provides ideas, guidance, practical support and resources for our work in convening stakeholders and building consensus in the European cancer community through our Focused Topic Networks, including a new Special Network on the impact of COVID-19 on Cancer.

Mike Morrissey, Chief Executive of the European Cancer Organisation, comments:

“We are building a broad coalition of support for our work from across Europe from charities, foundations and philanthropic organisations who share our mission and vision for the future.  Together with other organisations in Community 365, they contribute to our nine Focused Topic Networks with our 31 Member Societies and 20 patient advocacy groups, to build consensus and reduce the burden of cancer across Europe.”

We particularly welcome our newest philanthropy Community 365 Contributor, the Anticancer Fund (Belgium) who join NOMAN is an Island: Race to End HPV (UK) who were the first Contributor to Community 365.

In addition, we are pleased to have two new Supporters for our Community 365:
