Veronica Foote

Veronica Foote is Head of Policy & Consulting at Working With Cancer, a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer in the workplace. She leads the development of evidence-based policy and practical frameworks and supports the delivery of training programmes that enable organisations to better support employees navigating cancer. She also represents the organisation advocating for meaningful policy change.

With over 30 years of international leadership experience, Veronica spent a decade at Novartis working in healthcare policy, patient engagement and advocacy, helping to embed patient insights across the full pharmaceutical lifecycle, from development through to access and patient support, to improve outcomes for people affected by cancer. Earlier in her career, she held senior HR leadership roles, including Head of Human Resources for Novartis Oncology Europe, where she led HR strategy across 37 countries.

Alongside her professional expertise, Veronica brings lived experience of being both a patient and supporting a close family member through cancer, which informs her perspective and deepens her commitment to advancing workplace policy and support for cancer-affected communities.

A qualified executive coach, she combines strategic insight with empathy and real-world understanding to help organisations create more supportive and inclusive workplaces.
