Tina Rossidou is a psychologist specialising in psycho-oncology and palliative care, with a dual focus on national team leadership and clinical work. Tina was educated in Canada, at the University of Toronto as a psychologist, and holds a specialization in EMDR trauma therapy focusing on Adjustment Disorder and PTSD.
Over the past 18 years, she has worked for the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society, providing psychological support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses, offering compassionate care in both inpatient (at the Arodafnousa Palliative Care Centre in Nicosia) and outpatient settings. Her approach integrates person-centred, trauma-informed, and existential frameworks, supporting individuals through grief, loss, uncertainty, and end-of-life transitions.
In addition to her clinical practice, Tina leads national teams of Psychologists and Social Workers working with cancer patients and their families. She is responsible for supervision, training, and strategic service development, ensuring the delivery of high-quality psychosocial care within oncology and palliative care settings. With a commitment to professional growth and reflective practice, she fosters team cohesion, clinical excellence, and staff wellbeing.
Tina works collaboratively with medical and allied health professionals within a multidisciplinary team to embed psychosocial care into the heart of patient-centred service delivery. She and her teams are especially passionate about promoting dignity, meaning, and emotional resilience in the face of serious illness.
