Marta Temido is a Member of the European Parliament and Head of the Portuguese S&D Delegation since 2024. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Rights and is a member of the AFET and ENVI Committees. She was Portugal’s Minister of Health from 2018 to 2022. Previously, she held leadership roles in several public health institutions and chaired the Portuguese Association of Hospital Administrators. Marta Temido holds a PhD in International Health, a Master’s in Health Economics and Management, and a Law Degree. She also specialized in Hospital Administration and taught at various academic institutions. Her work includes multiple scientific publications in health.
