
Florian Tille works with the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies in Berlin, a partnership hosted by the World Health Organization.
His expertise is in evidence-informed health policy and health care for strengthening health systems in Europe, particularly on health systems innovation and the way organizational change is adopted. He further supports country monitoring in the areas of health systems performance and governance.
Florian currently coordinates two EU-funded projects on cancer, to support implementing the EU Mission on Cancer and Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.
Prior to joining the European Observatory, Florian was with the World Health Organization’s Regional Office for Europe, division on country policies and systems, as well as with WHO Headquarters.
Before that, he worked at the International Department of Germany’s Federal Ministry of Health, and with the National Association of Physicians.
Florian holds a PhD in public health from the Charité Medical University in Berlin, a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and a BA from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
