As a postdoctoral researcher at the Netherlands Comprehensive Cancer Organisation (IKNL), I focus on generating nationwide insights into the treatment and end-of-life care of patients with advanced cancer. Building on my previous work as a PhD researcher, I link and analyse data from national sources such as the Netherlands Cancer Registry and the National Hospital Care Registry to study treatment patterns and outcomes. My aim is to translate these findings into actionable insights that support improvements in palliative care and shared decision-making. In addition to my research, I supervise students and junior researchers, and contribute to other tasks such as coordinating research meetings and providing training on palliative care to research teams within IKNL.
