Anne De Middelaer is a Belgian patient advocate and Chair of vzw Gynca’s, a patient organisation supporting women affected by gynaecological cancers. As Co-Chair Elect of ENGAGe, she represents the patient voice at European level and advocates for equitable access to prevention, early diagnosis, quality care and better quality of life. Drawing on her lived experience and extensive involvement in patient advocacy, Anne works to ensure that patients are meaningfully involved in shaping cancer policy, research and healthcare.
