Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an opportunity to look beyond awareness itself and examine the policies, services and support that shape breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and life after diagnosis across Europe.
To that end, the European Cancer Organisation is bringing together expert perspectives from patient advocacy, clinical practice and specialist organisations to explore some of the unmet challenges facing patients today.
These commentaries complement ECO’s Women & Cancer Policy Index . While the Index provides a comparative picture of how countries are addressing key policy priorities, the expert series offers space to examine the realities behind the data, identify persistent gaps and highlight areas where implementation still needs to improve.
