Anne Brédart

Anne Brédart is an active member of the EORTC Quality of Life Group since 1992. Within this group, she coordinates the international development of measures of satisfaction with cancer care and participate to module development such as the hematological cancer, cachexia, elderly or communication modules.

She is a psychology clinician and researcher at the Psycho-Oncology Unit, Department of Oncology Supportive Care at Institut Curie in Paris (France). Starting her professional experience in psycho-oncology and quality of life assessment at Jules Bordet Institute in Brussels and at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, she witnessed oncology care from different European perspectives.

Since then, her main studies focus on the impact of innovation in patient-centered care, monitoring cancer patients’ needs and expectations of health care professionals. She has over 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles to her credit, all aimed at disseminating initiatives to improve information and support for patients affected with cancer.
