Fernando Aguirregomezcorta García

In 2017 Fernando started the specialty of pediatrics in Spain. In 2020 he chose pediatric oncology as a subspecialty, something he wanted to do since he was very young. In 2021 he started working as a Fellow in Oncology, Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Fernando is currently employed in a similar position, but at the Pediatric Cancer Center Barcelona, Hospital Sant Joan de Deu. Fortunately, childhood cancer is a rare, minority disease. This means that it has low visibility and few resources. Fernando believes this must change.
