Charles Faid

Director of Global Trade Policy & Public Affairs, Pfizer

A Director in Pfizer’s Global Trade Policy team since 2019, previously Charles worked in the company’s EU Government Affairs team.

Charles co-chairs the International Working Group of the European pharmaceutical industry association EFPIA and is an adviser to the UK Department for International Trade’s Life Sciences Trade Advisory Group. He has an extensive track record on international policy issues impacting medicines, including supply chain resilience, export restrictions, intellectual property and a range of other areas.

He has an MA in German from the University of Edinburgh, and an MA in Politics, Security and Integration from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES), University College London.
