Alexander Roediger, born in 1968, is a dual Swiss and German citizen who currently serves as Associate Vice President and Global Lead for Oncology Policy at Merck Sharp & Dohme, based in New Jersey, United States. In this role, he is committed to work towards cancer policies that enable sustainable financing and ensure timely patient access to innovative treatments.

Mr. Roediger holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Zurich and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen. Prior to joining MSD, Mr. Roediger held several roles, including Head of Policy and Media Relations at UNICEF Switzerland and various positions at Helsana Insurances, a leading Swiss health insurer.
