Dr Delaloge, MD, MSc, is a medical oncologist and a breast cancer and cancer prevention specialist. She was an associate professor of medical oncology in the Department of Cancer Medicine at Gustave Roussy, Paris, France, from 1999 to June 2026. She led the “Interception” multidisciplinary personalised prevention research program at Gustave Roussy from 2020 to 2026, a clinical and scientific program dedicated to individuals at high risk of various cancers. Her major areas of expertise and development are precision risk-based cancer prevention, large-scale real-world data, cancer precision oncology, digital health and the organisation of care in oncology and prevention. She chairs the large H2020 EU-funded MyPeBS project, which aims to demonstrate the value of risk-based breast cancer screening among more than 53,000 women randomised in 6 European countries, with the participation of 27 international partners. She is deeply involved in several European Joint actions dedicated to personalised and precision cancer early detection and prevention. She coordinated several transversal research efforts aiming at accelerating the development and implementation of precision cancer prevention. Dr Delaloge has chaired the ESMO Cancer Prevention and Interception Committee from 2024 to 2026. On July 1st 2026, she was appointed president of the French National Cancer Institute.​
