Dr Maria Pittaka is a graduate of the University of Crete and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Southampton in Clinical Leadership in Cancer, Palliative and End of Life Care. She obtained her speciality in Radiation Oncology at the University Hospital of Patras and has served in distinguished clinical positions at leading institutions, including Addenbrooke’s Hospital NHS Trust, Cambridge (2015), and Hôpital de Hautepierre, Strasbourg (2009). Since 2016, she has been based in Cyprus, and since 2024, she has held the position of Deputy Director of the Oncology Department at Nicosia General Hospital, State Health Services Organization.
