Academic Clinical Oncologist, University of Leeds, United Kingdom 

Katie is an Academic Clinical Oncologist whose research focusses on bringing together routine healthcare data and health economic methods to improve the equity and value of cancer care. Her MRC funded PhD considered the use, quality of life outcomes and cost-effectiveness of palliative radiotherapy for bone metastases. Since completing this, amongst other projects, she has been collaborating with colleagues from ESTRO-HERO and the Royal College of Radiologists to develop an understanding of the cost of radiotherapy in the NHS and has assessed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on English NHS radiotherapy delivery. Katie is NHS Digital’s National Clinical Lead for Radiotherapy Data.
