Global Head Government Affairs, Advanced Accelerator Applications (AAA), Novartis

 

Annette Stolz was appointed Global Head Government Affairs for Advanced Accelerator Applications (AAA), a Novartis company, in November 2018. In this role, Annette is responsible for healthcare system readiness, policy shaping and strategic partnerships for the Novartis radioligand therapy platform.

Annette first joined Novartis in 2011 as Chief of Staff to the Global Head of Public Affairs. Taking on roles of increasing responsibility, she led the Novartis strategic partnership with the World Economic Forum and advanced the health policy strategy for heart failure in support of cardiovascular health.

She also worked with country affiliates and colleagues across functions to establish a public affairs capability in Europe around data-driven healthcare systems, and supported business leaders in their engagements at the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). 

Before this, Annette was a consultant with ICF Mostra in Brussels, where she worked on large public engagement campaigns for the European Commission.

A political economist by training, Annette holds a Master of Arts degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology ETH Zurich in Switzerland. A native of Switzerland, she has lived abroad extensively, including two years in Russia, three years in the US, and two years in Belgium.
