Chief Diversity Officer, American Society of Clinical Oncology

 

Ms. Green is Chief Diversity Officer at ASCO, leading initiatives that advance the Society’s goals around equity, diversity, and inclusion. She is also currently co-chair of the internal Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Task Force.

Most recently, Ms. Green served as ASCO’s Director of Strategic Initiatives in Policy and Advocacy. Prior to joining the Society, she was Vice President of Health and Wellness Compliance at Walmart Stores, as well as VP Sponsor of the UNITY African American Associate Resource Group. Ms. Green also served as Deputy Secretary for the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals and Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.

She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA), a minority professional association for pharmacists founded more than 70 years ago, originally to serve African American pharmacists, and has been a member of the NPhA Foundation’s Board of Trustees since 2011. Ms. Green also sits on the College of Pharmacy Boards of Visitors for Howard University and Xavier University of Louisiana.

Ms. Green holds a law degree from the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University, a M.H.A. in Health Care Administration and Management from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, and a B.S. in Pharmacy from Xavier University of Louisiana. She also holds a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
