DESCRIPTION: Each year, thousands of men in Europe are diagnosed with cancer. The European Cancer Organisation is committed to tackling all cancer types by spreading awareness, providing support and campaigning for greater prevention efforts. Therefore, we have set up the workstream 'Men and Cancer' because of men's significant excess burden of cancer incidence and mortality across the European region and because this issue is not yet being addressed effectively by policymakers regionally or nationally.\n \nAn important inititative of the workstream is a production of the Roadmap for Improvement, that will be launched on Wednesday 29 November at 16:30-17:30 CET at the European Parliament.\n \n>Apply for registration.\n \nThe meeting will be co-chaired by Hendrik Van Poppel and Peter Baker, ECO Men and Cancer Workstream Co-Chairs, and Sarah Collen, ECO Inequalities Network Co-Chair.
