Then the European Cancer Organisation (ECO) could be looking for you!
This full-time role, based in Brussels, will be mostly dedicated to the implementation of PROTECT-EUROPE, our EU co-funded project focused on championing gender-neutral vaccination programme in EU Member States to provide protection for everyone against cancers caused by HPV.
Besides co-ordinating the PROTECT-EUROPE Consortium, the selected candidate will contribute to other projects related to HPV elimination, which ECO is currently implementing in Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia.
This will allow you to work with our different teams: Policy, Research, Governance, Communications, Operations to our dedicated community of Member Societies, Patient Advisory Committee and Focused Topic Networks; All contributing to beating cancer and improving care.
Our working language is English and this position will require occasional international travel. Candidates must already have the right to work in the EU and already be physically based in Brussels. The selected candidate will report to the Senior Coordinator, Community & Network Projects, Giacomo Lazzaro.

European Cancer Organisation (ECO)
The European Cancer Organisation is a not-for-profit federation of 42 Member Societies working in fighting cancer across the continent, together with 21 European Patient Advisory Committee members through 10 Focused Topic Networks.
We bring together patients, oncology professionals and public health experts to propose new policies, advocate change and be the united voice of the European cancer community.

Previous experience in managing EU Projects is preferred but not essential if the candidate can demonstrate project management skills. We are looking for someone who has great people skills and attention to detail – who can monitor the project, motivate the consortium and who has the ability to both see the big picture and focus on minor details.
The candidate is expected to be computer and internet literate with proven experience in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Word). Native or near-native level written and spoken English, with other European languages being an advantage.
Excellent inter-personal and communication will be highly valued. The candidate should be a flexible, collaborative and positive team member who accepts additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the CEO.
